Evergreen Primary was established in January 1999. The school started functioning with 22 classes of pupils from Primary One to Primary Four and was temporary housed in two separate campuses, Campus 1 and Campus 2 which were located at Woodlands Ring Primary School and Woodlands Ring Secondary School respectively. It then moved to its present premises on 22 March 1999. The school with its new building was officially opened on 6 July 2002. The first principal, Mrs See Chak Wah was with the school from January 1999 to December 2003. The second principal, Mr Tan Kah Teo, led the school from December 2003 to December 2009. The third principal, Ms Ong Lee Choo, led the school from December 2009 to December 2016. Evergreen Primary School is currently under the leadership of Mrs Rabia Shahul.
